Denise J. Bonaimo
creates jewelry from a vast array of materials from precious metals
and gemstones to
re-purposed found objects, such as vintage board games and antique metal. The majority of her
jewelry, as well as her fine art photography, is showcased in Studio
27 at the
Art
Studios at Spanish Village Art Center in Balboa Park.
This Brooklyn girl, by way of the Jersey shore, participates in
several art gallery exhibitions each year and is active in promoting
the thriving San Diego art scene.
With
a strong aspiration to share her knowledge of jewelry making with
others, Bonaimo offers
several jewelry classes and workshops for adults, children and seniors
in the comfort of your own home or at Studio 27 in Spanish
Village Art Center as well as: North Park’s San Diego Art Department,
San Diego City College
Continuing Education,
Grossmont Unified Adult Center,
Fallbrook School of
the Arts, UCSD Craft
Center and other locations in San Diego County and
beyond. A former Girl Scout, herself, she is also a certified
Girl
Scouts of America collaborator
instructing young ladies at a special rate.
Bonaimo has even
made a few television appearances on the CW's "San Diego Living"
demonstrating her techniques in jewelry making and promoting her
ongoing classes. In addition, she is available for
