Round Nose Pliers

  • The jaws are tapered and cone shaped.
  • A must for making multi-diameter round loops on head pins or wire wraps.
  • Use them to grasp wire or jewelry components.
  • When used with a second pair of pliers, used to open and close jump rings.
  • The square base can also be utilized to create hard right angles in wire.

Chain Nose Pliers

  • The jaws are tapered and flat on the inside where they meet.
  • Used for grasping and reaching into tight places.
  • When used with a second pair of pliers, used to open and close jump rings.
  • Great for “tucking the tail” of a wire wrap.
  • Often used in conjunction with your round nose pliers.

Flat Nose Pliers

  • The jaws are of even width and flat on the inside where they meet.
  • A good additional pair of pliers. Often used in conjunction with your round nose pliers.
  • Excellent pliers for sharp bends in wire.
  • Used for flattening wire shapes or sheet metal.
  • Large nose is somewhat limiting in tight spaces.

Side Cutters

  • The jaws have sharp edges to produce a cut in your wire.
  • Use the flat side to get in close to snip wire.

Bent Nose Pliers

  • The jaws are tapered and flat on the inside where they meet, with a 45 degree bend.
  • Great for turning wire into flat spirals.

Crimping Pliers

  • Used to fold tube crimps in half, so they become smaller and less obtrusive on the ends of a jewelry project finished with beading wire.

Flush Cutter

  • Makes a blunt cut in wire.
  • Ideal for snipping coils into jump rings.
