Egyptian Spiral Bracelet
Tools: Round Nose Pliers, Chain Nose Pliers and Side Cutter.
Materials: round, dead soft wire. Recommended Gauge- 18-20 gauge.
1) Cut 14 lengths of wire 6 ½” long.
2) Mark the center points with a felt tip marker.
3) Turn a small simple "P" loop on each end (which will become the center of your spirals).
4) Proceed to make one spiral on either end of your wire. Make sure they are equal in width. Follow steps 1-5 to make your Spirals.
5) Continue wrapping your spirals in towards each other until the unit is 2” long from end to end.
6) Repeat with the other 13 lengths of wire.
7) Using the thickest point on the jaws of your round nose pliers (all the way at the bottom); bend a “U” shape into each unit at the center point.
8) Using your round nose pliers fold the nose of all the units into a 90° angle. The tip of the nose should poke out from behind the spirals.
9) To begin assembling your bracelet place the “nose” of unit 2 into unit 1.
Option: Incorporate wire wrapped beads in between the egyptian spiral links.
